Sportradar and Arkadium announce exclusive partnership to transform the way fans consume sports content online
Sportradar, the global leader in analysing and leveraging the power of sports data and Arkadium, the company innovating visual, interactive content for more than 500 of the world’s leading publishers and brands, today announces a multi-year exclusive partnership designed to revolutionise the way that fans interact with sports data online around the world.
The partnership, which marries Sportradar’s worldwide real-time sports data, with Arkadium’s interactive AI product, InHabit, will for the first time deliver AI-powered visualisations of sports data to millions of fans and bettors around the world.
InHabit’s patent-pending technology reads any article and automatically inserts a relevant interactive editorial unit – called a “factive” – designed to engage the reader and extend the article on which it appears. The revolutionary technology broadens premium advertising, sponsorship and other monetisation opportunities.
InHabit has delivered unprecedented audience engagement at scale. It reaches 70M sports fans through partnerships with USA Today Sports Media Group, SLAM, the Associated Press, FanSided, and dozens of others leading US-based publishers.
With a 100% increase in session durations and up to 35% click-through rates, Sportradar can now offer these benefits to global publishers for the first time. By successfully captivating readers with content that is relevant, visually impactful, interactive and brand-safe, these publishers can dramatically enhance reader engagement and active participation levels.
“Sportradar is obsessed with enhancing the fan experience and we are continually striving to create engaging and unique products that offer the best solutions for publishers and broadcasters to monetise,” said Jonathan Earle, Customer Director, Sports Media, Sportradar. “The way in which sports fans are consuming content has dramatically changed and fans are looking for more interactive, visual stories to help keep them informed of the latest sports news. Partnering with Arkadium will help us to lead the next generation of sports engagement.”
“Our partnership represents the future of sports marketing,” said Kenny Rosenblatt, President & Co-Founder, Arkadium, “one where fans are deeply engaging with the players and teams they love, while providing publishers and advertisers the time, attention and relevant audiences that they’re looking for. We are excited to bring InHabit to the UK.”
Sportradar has an exclusive agreement with Arkadium to create factives for English Premier League matches and UEFA Champions League matches in a number of languages. Additional sports included are NBA, NFL, MLB and NCAA Football and Basketball.
