Live Basketball data collection from around the globe
Since April 2014, Sportradar has been a “Data Partner of FIBA”, the world’s governing body for basketball which is made up of 213 National Federations. Sportradar signed the multi-year deal with the International Basketball Federation and acquired the rights to collect, distribute and archive sports data across a range of adult competitions organised by FIBA. Sportradar distributes this data to recipients from the global media and betting industries.
Beyond that, FIBA has also been granted an option to utilise Sportradar’s market-leading integrity services during the term of the contract.
“We are very pleased to have secured this opportunity to work with such a key rights holder in such a widely loved sport. Basketball fans are amongst the most passionate fans in sport. Our market leading betting and sports data services, which include the new Live Match Tracker, will undoubtedly engage those fans worldwide in new ways and across all platforms.”
