ITF AND SPORTRADAR: A UNIQUE PARTNERSHIP
What started as a unique project in 2012 has now developed into a strong partnership in the world of tennis. In late 2015, Sportradar and the International Tennis Federation agreed to extend their successful partnership for five more years, extending the collaboration until 2021. Sportradar will continue as the ITF’s official data rights partner for the ITF Pro Circuit, and Davis Cup and Fed Cup by BNP Paribas, and will remain the preferred streaming partner for a range of ITF Pro Circuit events.
Since the start of the partnership, Sportradar has covered up to 60,000 tennis matches each year through its innovative umpire technology, which communicates the score of a match to the ITF data base and clients, in real-time. Since we launched the ITF Pro Circuit live web scoreboard in 2013, the Pro Circuit website has increased its number of visitor sessions by over 40 per cent, with more than 17 million visits recorded in 2015.
OUR ACHIEVEMENTS
FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS
Sportradar and the ITF will continue to work on new and innovative products and services to make sure tennis fans worldwide can connect with tennis easily and in engaging ways, even if they can’t make it to the court. Together, we are opening up new commercial opportunities for both the ITF and its stakeholders.
Impressions
We believe that Sportradar will be an excellent partner for the ITF and we look forward to working with them. In addition to the distribution of ITF Official Data, this project will allow us to expand live scoring services to the ITF Pro Circuit and the zone groups of Davis Cup by BNP Paribas and Fed Cup by BNP Paribas.”

Sportradar AG has been an excellent partner for the ITF, allowing us to increase the fan base for the ITF Pro Circuit as well as our flagship competitions, Davis Cup and Fed Cup by BNP Paribas. We have worked together extremely well since our partnership began four years ago, and look forward to working with Sportradar over the coming years to further grow fan, media and market interest in the official data from our competitions.

We are very pleased to continue our partnership with the ITF. The last four years have been incredibly fruitful: we have developed a new market for our clients and partners and we have also boosted the commercial value of the ITF’s live data and existing digital products. I am excited about the coming years which will see us develop even more outstanding solutions maximising the live data, video coverage and digital services for tennis enthusiasts all around the world.

ITF Live Scoreboard
The live scoreboard improves fans engagement and insight into the ITF Pro Circuit matches they care about through the delivery of simultaneous live point-by-point score updates across all matches in play. The scoreboard has also been redesigned to make it more intuitive to use and easier to interpret. Fans can also follow their favourite Pro Circuit players and tournaments while on the move via their smartphone or on their tablet (using a web browser).
All matches are arranged in Order of Play format and match courts, match status and start times are all set out for users. Previous meetings between players can also be accessed in the head-to-head tab, while extra player information is also available to add context and insight.
Building on the previous version of the scoreboard, Sportradar and the ITF have also integrated on-court events (i.e. warm-up, second serve, break point, medical time-out), deeper match statistics, point-by-point tracking for the game being contested and a momentum indicator throughout the match.
ITF Pro Circuit Mobile App
Together with the ITF, Sportradar developed a state-of-the-art mobile app which shows information of almost all ITF Pro Circuit matches arount the world, in real-time.
The ITF Pro Circuit Mobile App offers point-by-point score updates straight from the umpire’s chair at more than 1,200 Pro Circuit tournaments per year and users will be able to receive notifications about each match such as start times, set scores and final scores. Furthermore, the app provides a full list of tournaments taking place each week, the daily order of play for each tournament, detailed match statistics, in-play updates of key match moments and player head-to-head records and biographies.
You can download the app in the App Store and Google Play Store
